The Granite Group has a proud tradition in the plumbing, heating and cooling wholesale supply business dating back to the turn of the last century.

Our roots can be traced to Central Supply Company, which originated in 1901 in Worcester, MA as a distributor of gas and steam engines and plumbing supplies. Throughout the years, we have expanded into new lines of business- hydronic heat, HVAC, Propane / LP service, and design showrooms, to name a few. We have also expanded geographically, presently servicing all of New England and upstate New York.

Today, The Granite Group is ranked as one of the top 50 plumbing, heating, cooling and PVF wholesale distributors in the United States. The company has over 600 employees throughout almost 50 locations and is dedicated to providing the best service to our customers in an effort to continue to build our business together.

“Service” is our most important product at The Granite Group, and every member of our nearly 600 person team is dedicated to helping our customers get what they need every day, quickly and reliably. Our customers experience this in person through our local branch teams, when they call to ask a question or place an order, and when they meet with one of our industry experts to learn about new products and services. Behind the scenes, the team at our state-of-the art Central Distribution facility in Londonderry, NH is working hard to ensure that the inventory at every branch is replenished every week day.
