Sign On Bonus Eligible

External candidates areeligible for a signing bonus of $10,000 (prorated for part time roles). The bonus will be paid out as a $5,000 installment in the first pay check; the second installment of $5,000 will be paid out following the completion of a successful six-month orientation period in the department hired into.

The Community Health Nurse, RN will be responsible for the delivery of a full range of skilled nursing care to individual clients in their homes and other community settings. Care is family centered, age specific and culturally appropriate. The Community Health Nurse II (CHN) provides nursing care to clients utilizing the Nursing Process and within the framework of ANA Standards of Practice for Home Health Nursing, and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care. (CWOCN, APA, etc.) The CHN II assumes leadership responsibilities, including delegation of work to other employees.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher degree in nursing preferred
• Greater than one year of home or public health nursing experience preferred, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
