JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Rehab Therapy Aide contributes to the provision of therapeutic treatments, by directly assisting with treatment, maintaining an adequate inventory of supplies, equipment and materials, maintaining clean and safe treatment areas, providing clerical and other related support services as necessary at the care sites.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
One year of experience working with patients is preferred.
This position's primary designation is a mobility aide on a general medicine floor. Goals are to: engage on a daily basis with direct nursing staff to determine who is appropriate for mobility each day, document the mobility, and communicate with nursing the outcomes when necessary. This position requires demonstrating competence with established mobility techniques for both independent and interdisplinary use.
