Maintain the location's interior in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner. (e.g., office, breakroom, restroom)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe and clean internal building appearance through good housekeeping, organization, and management of walking surfaces.
Follow work schedules to complete all required cleaning and sanitizing, and complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders.
Perform custodian duties, such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, picking up debris, emptying trash cans and recycling, and general cleaning; these activities may include using equipment such as floor sweepers, polishers, vacuum cleaners, and dusters.
Maintain all restrooms, locker rooms, breakrooms, and footbaths in a sanitary manner; replenish supplies and paper products in break room and restrooms.
Maintain inventory of cleaning and other supplies; notify appropriate contact or update supply sheet to re-order supplies.
Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
Use chemicals to sanitize and clean the facility.
Perform related duties as requested by environmental health and safety (EHS), maintenance, management, or other staff members (e.g., help to coordinate and/or prepare for inspections and special events)
Distribute personal protective equipment (PPE) when needed.
Follow all safety requirements and wear proper PPE.
Implement all DFA GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements. Inform QA personnel of any quality issues.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals
Able to work safely and follow established policies and procedures.
Able to follow directions and carry out instructions with little supervision.
