The Agency of Education (AOE) is using funds to establish a new, dedicated position within the division overseeing educator licensing. This position, the Emerging Pathways Coordinator, will focus on developing and supporting new pre-apprenticeship pathways and Registered Apprenticeship Programs (RAP) for educators throughout the state.

This is a limited service position, with an expected start date July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2025 with a probable extension until June 30, 2026 based on VDOL funding.
This position, Education Programs Coordinator II (Job Requisition #49975), is open to all State employees and external applicants.This is a Limited Service position, which is non-tenured and authorized for a specific period of time. Limited Service positions are established for specially funded projects or programs.

Work is generally performed in a standard office setting, but significant travel may be anticipated for which private means of transportation must be available. Some work outside of normal work schedule may be required. There may be considerable interaction with a variety of publics and strong differences of opinion may be encountered.
Bachelor's degree in education, public administration, or related field AND five (5) years or more at a professional level education, program development, or leadership role in a public or private educational institution.
OR
Three (3) years or more as an Education Programs Coordinator I with the State of Vermont.
Master's degree.
